“ClimateScience Olympiad was an unparalleled opportunity to go beyond the theoretical simplicity of my classroom learning in Geography and wrestle with the real-life complexities world leaders face. I thoroughly enjoyed the chance to bring together disciplines ranging from Chemistry to Economics and Political Science, to craft policy solutions, receive feedback from climate experts, and present them on the world stage at COP27.”

“This Olympiad allowed me to apply my conceptual understanding of global climate policy to real-world situations. Interacting with the judges and learning from their expertise in policy-making made me much more attuned to the geopolitical realities on the ground, especially in the area of transboundary climate agreements. I am also grateful for the opportunity to speak at COP27, where I met many young people passionate about climate-related policy work.”
